The Travelambo Wallet manages to take the minimalist angle, add genuine leather, and inject it with aspects of the best cool wallets. It can fit in your front or back pocket, but also prevent data theft, which the Best RFID Wallet needs to have. Lastly, it has a generous number of slots for debit/credit cards you can take advantage of.

Why We Like It – Travelambo Wallet

The Travelambo Wallet can be a great choice for those who like that genuine leather look and construction, but still want a functional, minimalist wallet that isn’t going to expand their pockets a mile wide. You could also check the Travelambo review for a similar wallet.

Pros
  • 10 card slots
  • RFID protection
  • Slim, leather design
Cons
  • Subpar RFID blocking performance
  • Needs to hold more cash

Aesthetics

What’s unique about the Travelambo Genuine Leather Slim Wallet is the choice of leather. It isn’t a choice often given, though you only have a choice between crosshatch, napa, and vegetable tanned leather, it’s certainly appreciated. The leather finish is easy on the eyes, with a particularly nice texture to the crosshatch leather. On the flip side, a stainless steel plate wallet you could read about it is the Trayvax ascent review.

Durability

Considering this is genuine leather we’re talking about, the Travelambo Wallet has the rugged durability one might want if they’re looking to hang onto their wallet for more than a few months. However, a more durable option would be the Flipside Wallet, which comes at the cost of aesthetics.

Performance

When in use, the Travelambo Minimalist Leather Wallet can perform as well as you’d expect. The Travelambo Front Pocket Minimalist Wallet comes with a generous number of card slots for your debit/credit cards—up to 10, in fact. However, a dedicated ID slot would have been nice, like the Serman Brands Wallet, and expand on the money pouch. Regardless, all 10 cards have RFID protection at a frequency of 13.56 MHz. That’s better than nothing, but subpar at best.

Size & Versatility

Since the Travelambo RFID Blocking Leather Wallet has a minimalist design, every effort was made to slim down the overall size of the wallet, for a more manageable, comfortable fit inside your front and back pocket. And since it’s leather, there won’t be any metal corners poking your skin.

Value

Considering everything the Travelambo Wallet gives you, this is a surprisingly great deal, even with the slight nitpicks we pointed out. You get a generous number of card slots, a place for your money, and basic RFID protection for just $8. And as a bonus, it’s a stylish wallet! But if it isn’t stylish enough, opt for the Tommy Hilfiger Wallet.

Travelambo Wallet Wrap Up

The Travelambo Wallet takes that minimalist route, functionality, and style, and takes it about as far as you can before asking too much of its buyer. You get 10 slot card carrying abilities, a place for your cash (could be bigger), and basic RFID protection. Best of all, it’s built into a stylish leather design.
