Show your loved one how much you care about them with a tap of the new Kickstarter campaign TapTap wristband! The innovative wristband connects you and your loved one as if you never left each other. The wristband will send a signal to their wristband, so they’re the only one who will feel that you touched your wristband, reminding them that you’re thinking of them. The two TapTap wristbands are connected to each other and all you have to do is tap your wristband for an immediate exchange of feelings. Unlike other social media outlets, the TapTap wristband is a private way for you and your loved one to communicate with each other since only you two can access it. No one will ever know about your secret language, making the technological gesture that much more special.
The wristband is a plastic module and a hypoallergenic silicone slap-bracelet. The module is inserted when the wristband is straight, then when it hugs your wrist, it’s locked in and ready to start sending signals. The wristband comes in a variety of colors so you can easily change it to fit your mood or style and it’s adjustable to fit any wrist size. Available wristband colors include black, light blue, orange, grey, yellow or pink, with additional colors and textures to come later. The module itself is made of hard scratch- and splash-resistant plastic, with the silicone on top, called the TapSpot, the place where you tap your finger to send the signal. There’s a tiny micro USB socket on the side of the module to charge the TapTop, too. There’s also an app that works with your iOS or Android device that can turn it off and on, switches LED’s indication on/off (if you want even more intimacy, TapTap will react only with a vibration) and notify you when TapTap needs to be recharged. The TapTap is currently available if you pledge $130 or more.
