Performance

Starting off with the build and assembly of the desk, the Seville Classics AIRLIFT offers you a great deal of durability with it’s high quality, heavy-duty steel frame and the thick levelling legs on either side. The parts come packed in their respective positions to make for easy assembly, and along with the crossbeam, pre-cut screw holes as well as all the tools that come included, the Seville Classics AIRLIFT standing desk is among one of the easiest to assemble. And not being the standard electric standing desk and rather coming with hydraulic levelling legs, you don’t need to plug it into a socket and keep it fixed somewhere. As for the durability certification, the Seville Classics AIRLIFT passes the BIFMA and ANSI X5.5 standards for both safety and performance, making it a safe bet for anyone looking for a standing desk.

Moving onto the height adjustment and stability of the desk itself, with the height being adjustable from a low of 25.6 Inches and going all the way up to 51.4 Inches, it may not have the utmost tallest height but it can still be comfortably used by almost anyone despite their height. And not shaking as much even at the maximum height level, you can easily place all your workspace equipment ranging from your laptop, extra monitors and all the documents you need thanks to the 264 pound weight capacity.

Aside from that, when it comes to adjusting the height of the desk you can do so easily with the memory controller that stores upto 4 different preset heights which makes it easier for you to make the desk suitable for upto two people with their own preferred sitting and standing heights saved beforehand.

Design

When it comes to the extra additional parts you can get, the Seville Classics AIRLIFT isn’t as great as the Stand Up Desk Store Crank Adjustable Desk as the keyboard tray has been reported as not being adjustable in height or capable of sliding underneath the desk making it unsuitable for ergonomics. As for cable management, the Seville Classics AIRLIFT doesn’t come with any form of holes or a tray to handle the cables which may be a drawback for many of you out there.

Moreover, the Seville Classics AIRLIFT standing desk suffers from stains if you drop anything on it, so be wary of that. But apart from all that, the ergonomic curved front edge allows you to work easily as your hands reach to the end of the desk for anything you might need without having to move. And so with that and the number of different colours it is available in, the Seville Classics AIRLIFT offers a pretty stylish and moderately ergonomic design.

Value

Priced at about $185, the Seville Classics AIRLIFT is among one of the most affordable adjustable standing desks out there. Despite being priced much lower than the Varidesk Prodesk 60 it is a much more affordable choice that offers the same if not better height adjustability as well as weight capacity. And so unless the lack of cable management options and the pronness to stains is a major drawback to you, the Seville Classics AIRLIFT standing desk is among one of the best value choices for you right now.

Seville Classics Airlift Wrap Up

Offering both a good weight capacity of upto 264 pounds and a height range from 25.6 Inches to 51.4 Inches, the Seville Classics AIRLIFT doesn’t disappoint in terms of its performance as a standing desk. The memory controller offers you a convenient adjusting experience whilst the ergonomic curved design makes for easy and comfortable use. And if you can get past the lack of cable management as well as the risk of stains, you’ll find yourself a desk that is stable even at the highest height and even offers a good design at a pretty affordable price. Just remember that, if you plan on using a keyboard tray, this might not be the best option for you.
