Performance

Instant cameras like the Snap Instant Digital Camera and the Instax Mini are known for being cheap and fun, yet still having great performance. The Snap Instant Digital Camera offers no frills and is a point and shoot camera. Despite being basic the Snap camera has better image quality than most instant cameras thanks to the 10 MP sensor. This Polaroid digital camera may earn points for its image quality, but it also deserves respect for having a memory card slot to save your pictures for later. If you don’t need a memory card, the Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 Instant Film may be a better option.

Design

The Polaroid Snap comes in a cool, retro design that only weighs 14 ounces. It has the old rectangular camera shape but updated with rounded, smooth edges and a wide range of colors to choose from. The front is dominated by the 25mm lens and also features a small flash. The only buttons are the shutter button, self-timer button, and mode button. The side features the card reader and USB charging port, while the rear door opens to store up to 10 sheets of Zink film. For a compact rival, check out the Canon IVY CLIQ.

Value

The Polaroid Snap is a traditional instant camera in that it is basic and can take instant pictures that are printed in seconds. On the other hand, it goes beyond a normal instant camera by processing images in 10 MP and being able to store the images on a memory card. The prints from this camera are also long-lasting and the zink paper is also reasonably priced. When looking at the price compared to the features, the Polaroid Snap has excellent value for money. Another simple instant camera is the Kodak PRINTOMATIC.
