This smartwatch is a great partner to have during your fitness journey. With this device, you will be able to read daily activity more precisely. Exercises such as running, swimming, or walking will all be recorded in this fitness tracker. There are also options to join exercise programs online, which is great if you’re in need of personal training. This watch comes close to the apple watch in terms of functionality, but there are plenty of other competitors coming close, such as the Lintelek Fitness Tracker with Heart Rate Monitor or the Timex Ironman Classic 30 Full-Size 38mm Running Watch from our Best Running Watches.

Why We Like It – Polar M430 Review

The Polar M430 is a fitness watch with many great abilities. The wrist based heart rate sensor, sleep tracking, and polar flow app altogether make a product that will give precise readings of your energy in real time. Daily activities like steps, sleep, and heart rate tracking all play a role in how the product will provide fitness tests that are best suited for you. This is a watch that puts the details of fitness into perspective.

Pros
  • Training plans
  • Social Network
  • Battery life
Cons
  • One size
  • Thick Build

Performance

The Polar M430 features a simple black and white display that minimizes battery use by focusing on the informative side of things rather than appearance. The watch face is similar to the Polar M400, which is not touchscreen but offers two dials to navigate within the watch. We can expect an optical heart rate monitor that relieves the need for a chest strap. Thisgps running watch is fully capable of reading out a variety of data and provides a solid start to a fitness journey. A waterproof fitness watch from Polar is featured in our Polar ignite gps smartwatch review.

Design

Probably the biggest flop for this device is the design. This watch was built to last during training. The breathable style wristbands are rugged in design compared to something smooth and comfy. Aside from looks, this watch operates well with the polar flow app which tracks all activity within a nice layout. This is a watch that withstands the intensity of training, but post-activity, it isn’t the hottest design on the block. Don’t forget to make sure you check out other styles, such as the garmin forerunner 35 running watch. Looking for a waterproof multisport running watch? Read about it in our Polar vantage v review.

Value

There are a variety of features in this gps running watch that withholds its value. The heart rate monitoring alone pairs it up with other products like the apple watch. The polar flow app was designed smoothly to record all information to provide accurate data. If you are in the market for a smartwatch that can withstand your daily rituals, this is a great choice, but if you want a watch to wear after than I suggest digging a little deeper

Polar M430 Review Wrap Up

This is a great watch because it provides accurate reading, and provides a training regiment online if you are interested in any personal training. The social network within the polar flow app is a nice touch also because it is much easier to stick to a program when you are struggling amongst others after the same thing. While it lacks some post-exercise functions, it still provides a good amount of tools to improve your fitness journey.
