And here is the best coffee maker if you want to invest in one.

Pros
  • Can brew a wide variety of beverages
  • Interface is easy to use
  • 2-year warranty
Cons
  • Price is hard to swallow

Performance

The best part of the Nespresso Creatista Plus Espresso Maker is its beverage options, and this is done with its easy-to-use interface, guiding you through the steps. Choose between three sizes—0.84, 1.35, 3.72 oz—, 11 milk temperature settings, and 8 texture levels. In other words, you can stir up a cappuccino, café latte, latte macchiato, flat white, ristretto, espresso and lungo, including a few others if you mess with the settings. For example, there’s a steam wand if you fancy a cup of milk. If you are looking for another good alternative, check out the Nespresso Lattissima Pro Machin.

Then there’s the latte art. Part of the magic behind this machine is the option to fancy up your cup of joe; it isn’t just a coffee machine, after all. Part of the value in art might be lost on you if you have zero experience manipulating the milk frother, but the option for milk frothing is there when you need it.

Design

The design of the Nespresso-Breville Creatista Plus looks compact and yet, bulky at the same time. Still, it’s smaller than other espresso machines, like the Mueller Espresso Machine, but larger than the Nespresso CitiZ. Its stainless steel finish looks premium, with alternative finishes of black and black sesame.

Included in the package is a milk jug, too, and a capsule container that holds 12. The water tank in the back can hold up to 50 ounces of water, and is removable.

Value

There’s superb value here, and it all stems from its performance—not to mention its options. You can get some serious work out of the espresso machine if you’re willing to pay the price. In return you get an espresso machine that can handle experimentation, and still work every single morning.

To sweeten the deal, you’ll get delectable samples of Nespresso capsules. Included in the package is also a really nice 2 year warranty. Of course it’s unlikely that something will happen, but that’s a big window of opportunity, should the unthinkable happen.

Nespresso Creatista Plus Wrap Up

The Breville-Nespresso Creatista Plus isn’t for everyone—just look at its price. It’s made for the barista at heart; an espresso artist that prefers to experiment with flavors on their own. This is especially true given how easy the interface is, the number of beverages that can be made, and its 2-year warranty.
