Performance
Next in our GoPro Fusion review, we talk about performance. The Fusion GoPro is unique because it has two lenses that can capture video in 5.2K video resolution at 30 frames per second. The footage can then be turned into conventional 1080p with the software GoPro includes. You can also take 18PM spherical shots in photo mode and crop them into regular images. Other great functions include GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. This camera came out at the same time as the Hero6 Black so it has fewer features than newer cameras like the GoPro Hero8 Black.
Design
The Fusion camera has a large fish-eye lens on either side of the boxy black exterior. The casing is very durable with rounded corners and rubberizing that contribute to making it waterproof at up to five meters. Unlike most of the other cameras in the range, it takes two memory cards which actually come as free extras in the box. Value
The GoPro Fusion occupies a niche market and offers something different to most other cameras. The two cameras deliver truly eye-popping visuals that are hard to match and they can be edited, rendered, and stitched even further using the Fusion Studio GoPro app. Both the image and video quality are fantastic and it has good connectivity features like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It’s also waterproof at up to five meters. Our Fusion review has found it to have excellent value for money, just like the GoPro Hero5 Black.
GoPro Fusion Wrap Up
The GoPro Fusion is one of the toughest 360-degree cameras on the market and can take breathtaking images and videos. It also has great connectivity features and is compatible with most tripods and GoPro mounts on the market. Unfortunately, this camera doesn’t offer any streaming feature, so you’ll have to make do with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for connectivity. This is a brilliant camera for adventurous people who want something different.
