The Cuisinart Next-Generation Burr Grinder brews excellent coffee and different levels of intensity so you always get the strength you want. Hard in the morning and softer at night. It’s a little on the expensive side though. Probably because Cuisinart is such a well-known brand. Check out our best coffee maker list to see other coffee makers you might enjoy!

Performance

The Cuisinart Next-Generation Burr Grind & Brew 12-Cup DGB-800 Coffee Maker automatically grinds your coffee beans at a set time to give you freshly brewed coffee when you wake up in the morning, after dinner, or whenever you want. The auto-rinse feature ensures your coffee grounds enter the brew basket without hassle for less clean-up and great coffee. This Cuisinart is also a 12 cup coffeemaker, so you know you’ll always have enough for your guests too. But if 12 cups sounds like a little too much, consider the OXO Barista Brain 9 Cup Coffee Maker.

Design

The Cuisinart Burr Grind comes in a stainless steel design so you know it will look nice wherever you decide to put. But it also means it will be a little painful to clean, so be aware of that. Check out the Technivorm Moccamaster KBG 741 if you want a non-stainless steel option. The Cuisinart also has a gold tone style permanent filter and a charcoal water filter which all add up to great impurity-removing capabilities. The blade style, burr, also does a better job at providing consistency in your grinding and is less noisy.

Value

The Cuisinart DGB-800 comes with the option to choose whether you would like a glass carafe or a thermal carafe. The Grind Brew Coffeemaker comes with free shipping from the Cuisinart website and retails for $180.00. A little on the expensive side, to be honest, so consider the Bodum Bistro Coffee Maker if you’re on a budget. On a final note, though the Cuisinart is a 12-cup machine, there is another option for a 10-cup machine if 12 sounds like too much.

Cuisinart Next-Generation Burr Grind & Brew 12-Cup DGB-800 Wrap Up

The Cuisinart Grind & Brew Coffee Maker’s fully programmable features ensure you get a great cup of coffee whenever you desire it. It also features a fantastic burr grinder that consistently grinds to perfection and is less noisy. You may have a hard time cleaning it, but that’s a sacrifice you’re going to need to make.
