The Costway Retro Microwave Oven provides an alternative for anyone who might not prefer to use a microwave that’s got a touch key control panel, as it features just two mechanical knobs and two buttons. This makes it very user friendly and therefore one of the best microwaves for seniors as it is so easy to operate. The stainless steel microwave also features a green lit LED display where you’ll get to see the status of whatever it might be cooking, and is available in three color choices that you can choose from. Stick around to find out what else it’s got in store.

Power & Performance

At 900 Watts, the Costway microwave oven offers the same amount of microwave power that you’ll get with the Commercial Chef CHM009 Microwave Oven, with the one major difference between the two being that the CHM009 has got 10 cooking power levels while the Retro countertop microwave oven has only 5. The 5 are also well labelled, so that you have an idea of what each power level allows you to do. The power levels are defrost, medium low, medium high, high and speed cooking. If a 6 pre-programmed auto cook menu microwave is what you are looking for, the Toshiba EM925A5A-BS.

Durability

The Stainless steel and glass design of this Costway microwave gives it great build quality, as well as stunning design. You can get the microwave in either mint green, white or black, so there’s at least a wider range of color options to choose from unlike with the Top Rotary Commercial Microwave Oven that’s only available in black and white. There’s a glass turntable inside the microwave that’s pretty easy to clean, and with a cubic capacity of 0.9 cubic feet, you should pretty much be able to cook food for at most two people, making the microwave ideal for a couple or even a single person living alone.

Ease of Use

The two mechanical knobs on the Costway Microwave oven control microwave power and time. Below them there are two buttons for starting and cancelling an operation, and the design here is very similar to what you’ll see on the Nostalgia microwave. They both have an easy grab and go handle instead of a push to release button, and they both sport 0.9 cubic feet of internal capacity. The only things that set the two apart is the slight difference in wattage.

Added Features & Versatility

You’ll be able to activate a child lock on the Costway microwave, and this is key especially if you live with younger ones that might try to tamper with the microwave. To activate it, you just need to hold down the pause/cancel button for 3 seconds, and to deactivate it you’ll also need to do the same.

Value

The Costway microwave is the perfect choice for anyone who’s looking for ease of use, and a beautiful retro design. It comes with a 1 year warranty just so that you don’t have any problems with your first year of use, but you can also decide to purchase an extended warranty just to be on the safe side.

COSTWAY Retro Turn Dial Microwaves Oven Wrap Up

At around $120, you’ll be getting a microwave that’s just perfect for the house or the office, and one that’ll be able to defrost, reheat or even cook some of your favourite meals. Its retro design is sure to get you a lot of compliments, and the two knobs on it make it a whole lot easier to navigate.
