Performance
The Canon 90D is a class act compared to many of the intermediate and even entry-level DSLR cameras that you’ll find in a similar price range. Continuous shooting speed is at a healthy 11 frames per second, while its shutter speed spans from 1/16000 of a second using live view mode. The Canon 90D also has an impressive video capture resolution of 4K UHD, while also being capable of Full HD 120p video recording. To maintain excellent results even when shooting in low light, the Canon camera comes with a DIGIC 8 Image processor which drastically scales down noise or grain, and coupled with a high ISO performance, it helps deliver fine, detailed pictures that are sure to leave you impressed.

Design
The main difference between the Canon 90D and its predecessor, the 80D in terms of its body is really just a new 8-way joystick that now makes it easier to adjust the focus point. Other than that, the ports are the same, with the 90D having a Mic input, a headphone output, a remote cable, a USB 2.0 connector, and an HDMI port as well.
The 90D however doesn’t have a USB Type-C connector unlike the Canon M6 Mark II, but it does come with a similar menu system, and a rear LCD screen that measures about 3-inches. Unlike the Nikon D3300 DSLR, the Canon 90D comes with WiFi and Bluetooth for easy connectivity, and even allows for easy transfer of any RAW file.
Value
Launched in 2019, the 90D is a fairly new camera that a lot of enthusiastic DSLR fans are still yet to get their hands on. Its high-resolution CMOS sensor delivers high-quality pictures, and with an ISO range of 100-25600 that’s better than that of the Pentax K-S2 DSLR, your shots look really good even when taken from a distance. The 90D camera also employs two types of AF systems, and the one that’s used depends on whether you’re shooting through the viewfinder or live view. When you’re using the viewfinder, the camera relies on a 45-point AF system that’s different from the Dual Pixel AF system that’s engaged when using live view mode.
The latter offers up to 5000 AF points to choose from, making it the better AF mode between the two. The 32.5 Megapixel APS C camera also supports JPG, RAW, and C RAW image formats, and despite not being a full-frame camera, it has a high-resolution sensor that you can’t really compare even to other Canon cameras that are.
