If you’re thinking about saving money on your cable bill and are looking for the Best TV Antenna, it may be beneficial to narrow your search to the Best Long Range TV Antenna, especially if you live in the suburbs or a rural community where broadcast towers are farther away. And to this extent, you should definitely consider the Antennas Direct Clearstream 4.

Why We Like It – Antennas Direct Clearstream 4

The Antennas Direct Clearstream 4 is another powerful antenna for the reputable Antennas Direct manufacturer. It can pull in a healthy amount of stations, 35-36 seems to be the going average depending on where you live, and it’s also ready to receive powerful 4K signals too.

Pros
  • 4K Ready
  • 70 Mile Range
  • Lifetime Warranty on Parts
Cons
  • No Coaxial Cable
  • Comparatively Heavy

Performance

The Antennas Direct C4 V CJM Indoor Outdoor HDTV Antenna can pull an average of about 35 TV stations. The best part is that none of them were broken. It either pulls in stations or it doesn’t. Further, it receives UHF VHF signals so it gets both local and affiliate channels. And like the RCA ANT751R Compact Outdoor Yagi HDTV Antenna it’s 4K ready too!

Ease of Install

The Clearstream 4 doesn’t come with a coaxial cable, which is a little annoying but at least allows you to buy one in the length you need instead. Or you can check out the 1byone Indoor Amplified TV Antenna instead. The Clearstream 4 comes with all the mounting hardware required to set it up. And this includes sealing pads if you want to set it up on the roof.

Durability

The Clearstream 4 measures 9.13 x 28.19 x 20.06 inches L X W X H and weighs about eight pounds. This isn;t heavy by any stretch of the imagination, but it is on the heavier side when it comes to TV antennas. If you want something lighter, check out the Pingbingding HDTV Antenna. The sealing pads it comes with will also help to form a seal and stop rain seeping into your roof from the screw holes.

Range

The Clearstream 4 is designed to be multi directional and so can get a signal from anywhere. It’s designed to respond to a greater range of frequencies along with a wide beam angle which eliminates the need for rotation. It has a 70 mile range which is impressive, if not pretty standards for a long-range TV antenna.

Value

In the first we’ve seen for TV antennas, the Antennas Direct Clearstream 4 comes with a lifetime warranty on parts which is always a welcome feature. Reviews on Amazon are also positive and plentiful, scoring 4.5/5 stars based on a whopping 3,253 reviews. Given all this, it’s easy to see why the antenna costs as much as it does. Still under $100.00 though. That said, you can get a value antenna such as the Lava Antenna that is quite affordable and works great.

Antennas Direct Clearstream 4 Wrap Up

While the 70 mile range on the Antennas Direct Clearstream 4 isn’t the highest we’ve seen, it’s still more than enough to get a respectable number of channels no matter where you live. The lack of a coaxial cable is unfortunate, but at least you’ll know the one you buy will be the exact length you need. Or even better, you may have one just lying around!
