    Performance

    The 4 adjustable wrenches performed to our standards when being tested. Since they are forged steel heat treated, they are strong and durable. They can withstand being wrenching on a tight bolt or nut without shearing off the jaw. In addition, the adjustable scroll wheel moves easily and does not catch or hang up. It’s nice having a selection of 4 wrenches in the event you are not exactly sure what size you will need. The longer wrenches have a wider jaw, which helps to withstand more torquing pressure.     Design

    This set was designed with everyday use in mind. The four adjustable wrenches can accommodate hardware from 0 to 1-5/16 inches. Each wrench has a laser-etched ruler next to the jaw edge so that you can see the exact measurement of the item you are tightening or loosening. The handle of the tool also tells you the size of the wrench in inches and millimeters. Each adjustable wrench set forged is finished with chrome plating for a superb shine.

    The value of this set is quite reasonable. For less than $25 you are getting a four-piece wrench collection that is forged heat-treated and laser-etched with measurements every one-eighth of an inch. These wrenches also have a rugged I-beam construction to give you added strength when torquing down a bolt or nut. Some 12-inch stand-alone adjustable wrenches sell for the price that you are getting this 4 piece set. Add the fact that they are chrome-plated, and you have a nice collection for your toolbox or as a gift.     The WORKPRO 4 Piece Adjustable Chrome Plated Set is a nice collection of wrenches. They are forged heat treated for a solid, durable tool, but also have a high polish with the chrome plating. While they do not have a rubber handle for a more comfortable grip, that is not uncommon for a wrench. Overall, this is a good set to have on hand for use around the house or garage.
