Aesthetics

Vaultskin was right to give this slim wallet an Italian leather finish. It’s certainly high quality, if not one of the best examples of an affordable leather wallet. The stitching is exquisite, giving the edges an aesthetically pleasing border. However, it only comes in three colors, which is a shame, but that’s still two more colors than the Herschel Charlie Wallet.

Durability

Leather, by nature, is fairly durable if and when cared for correctly. But this is Italian leather, which is considered the longest-lasting among other leather. It has also been reinforced with a metal zipper and metal teeth around the edges instead of plastic. It certainly looks more durable than the Crabby Wallet.

Performance

The Vaultskin Notting Hill Wallet touches on every base a wallet should cover: small items, credit cards, cash coins. For example, the outside has a pull strap to access cards. Altogether, the pockets can hold up to 12 cards, a bit of change, and 10 bills. However, the coin purse is a tad small to be of any use, so that Vaultskin could have dropped it entirely. Most importantly, it makes accessing items that much easier, unlike the Bellroy Front Pocket Wallet, cramming everything together.

Size & Versatility

For those hoping the Vaultskin Notting Hill Slim Zipper Wallet would fit in their front pocket, you’ll be happy to hear that it does! It only measures 3.15 x 4.13 x 4.41 inches in size, making it a great fit for any of your pockets. If you are interested in a larger wallet than Vaultskin Notting Hill, you can check the Alpine Swiss Wallet, which features RFID blocking technology to prevent any credit card data theft.

Value

Accessing a large number of cards, money, and a bit of change already has value. The Vaultskin Notting Hill Wallet takes that value and amplifies it by creating an intelligently designed wallet that makes great use of small spaces. So yes, it indeed does have great value, and it’s priced perfectly at $37, which is way cheaper than the lesser Bellroy Front Pocket Wallet.

Vaultskin Notting Hill Wallet Wrap Up

If you pick up the Vaultskin Notting Hill Wallet, you won’t be disappointed. While it isn’t strictly a minimalist’s wallet, it took the functions of a traditional wallet, shaved away excess material, and gave it a better profile. You still get the same, if not more functionality, and the style looks fantastic. It just needed a few more color options.
