What has a cold-storage cryptocurrency wallet, along with high-performing hardware? Maybe only the best smartphone in the world. But the Sirin Labs Finney U1 does, and it’s shaping up to be the most secure phone. Does it manage? Its security suite certainly makes waves. Not to mention your crypto wallet actually disconnects from the internet when not in use.

Why We Like It – Sirin Labs Finney U1

Bring your cryptocurrency wallet and smartphone together as one with the Sirin Labs Finney U1, thanks to its ingenious design of incorporating a second screen for your currency, and powered by a great chipset.

Overall Performance

Outside of its security features, you’re getting a powerful flagship smartphone. The Snapdragon 845 and 6GB run the show, so if you want to kick back and game, you certainly can. Its main camera (in the rear) is 12MP. It’s nothing fancy; video captures in 4K; has automatic HDR; and does fine in low-light settings. For beautiful images, the iPhone 12 Pro Max is more your speed.

Battery Life

The 3280mAh is also just as strong. Depending on how you use the Sirin Labs Finney Wallet U1, you could have all-day battery life. It’s two to three times the average of the Apple iPhone 11. It also supports Qualcomm QuickCharge 4.0, filling the battery up to 50% after 30 minutes.

Display

Hidden behind the beautiful 1080×2160 display is a secondary, but smaller 2-inch screen that pops out. That’s actually your cryptocurrency wallet; however, if you have big hands it’ll be tedious using it. On the bright side, sliding it back into place will disconnect your crypto wallet from the internet.

Durability

The Sirin Labs Finney U1 State of the Art Ultra Secure Blockchain Smartphone does lower its durability by dropping its ingress protection rating down to IP52. It makes up for it a little through the use of a tough glass and metal body. The Blackberry KEY2 could be a better alternative to this Sirin model as it offers similar security and is much more durable.

Value

Considering everything we covered in this Sirin Labs Finney review, it’s shaping up to be more valuable than the equally expensive Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Sure, its chipset is a little faster, but you don’t get a quarter of the security suite given to you by the Sirin Labs Finney U1. Its entire cyber security center makes up for the gap in price—especially in today’s climate where every mainstream app wants to horde your personal data.

Sirin Labs Finney U1 Wrap Up

If you want some serious security, the Sirin Labs Finney U1 will keep you out of the trenches and your crypto wallet secure. But you have to be willing to pay the price. Unlike other flagship smartphones, you’re also getting a high-performing handheld, not some bargain bin smartphone with extra protection.
