Reflexonic’s Viberect: The First FDA Approved Male Vibrator

Already tried the best prostate massager? Try this.

If you thought the above thong-like device is the latest rage in cooking utensils, think again. That device is actually the future of jacking off…well, for some at least. Earlier this week, Reflexonic announced the upcoming release for Viberect, which is the first male vibrator that is actually approved by the Federal Drug Association (FDA).

Yeah, you read right, that device is a MALE VIBRATOR that’s supposed to be an alternative way to treating erectile dysfunction and sexual health, as well as way to promote ej*cul*tion in men with spinal cord injury. Women have been using vibrators since 1880 when Dr. Joseph Mortimer Granville created and patented the first electromechanical vibrator and even before then probably, so why not something for men, which is probably what the Chambersburg, PA, medical device company was thinking when they created its Viberect.

While many men would still prefer the old fashion way for self pleasure over this thong-like machine, it might someday become the preferred way to “get off” in the future for those too lazy to use their own hands.

Designed and developed by urologists and sexual medicine experts, Viberect is supposed to feel like “manual/vaginal stimulation of the penis,” leading to erection and even possibly ej*cul*tion if you’re lucky! So this is how it works: the pads on the thong-like machine provide simultaneous vibratory stimulation on both surfaces of the penis (the top and bottom to be specific). If used at a high frequency (70-110Hz) for what’s recommended to be about 7to10 minutes, men are supposed to be able to get stiff and be ready for the real thing (intercourse if you don’t know) and if fully feeling the “experience,” full release on one’s own.

For added emphasis, the official Reflexonic site for its Viberect adds that “subsequent orgasm and ej*cul*tion is greatly amplified.” But getting off with this kind of technology isn’t cheap and won’t be available at your local sex shop anytime soon (although, it’s just a matter of time before knock off devices start showing up everywhere).

Right now, men can only get a Viberect if they have a doctor’s prescription for it and will set you back a whopping $300, which is way more than some of the best females vibrators on the market. It’s only a matter of time, though, before we start seeing commercials for Viberect as they compete against the likes of pill solutions like Viagra and Cilas. It’ll be interesting to find out just how many of these machines the company will sell in its first couple of months…and if they actually work better than Mary Palm and her five sisters!
