Powerbag Lets You Charge on the Go

While the PowerBag is simply a bag with a rechargeable battery included in the $140 price tag it does include a set of gadget like pockets and USB cables directly integrated into its body.  The bags are compatible with mini-USB, micro-USB and Apple 30-pin devices.  So yeah, they’ve got pretty much got all portable devices covered.  However, laptops and other power hungry devices can only be stored inside its padded compartments, since the 3000mAh or 6000mAh battery is probably only compatible with 5V devices.

The Powerbag will go on sale at major retailers sometime this October and we assume the $140 price tag is for the 3000mAh model.  Alternatively, you could go buy a bag and aftermarket battery with the same capacity and create your own version for presumably less money, though you won’t get the same turn key solution.

The details are a bit skimp at this point, so perhaps they’ve got something in their bag of tricks that will give the Powerbag a bit more bang for its buck.
