Outgunning the Moto G7 Power, the Moto G Power rolls in with great price per power. Its 3-day battery is phenomenal, and its 6.4-inch display is a rare occurrence. It’s also sporting decent hardware underneath.

Overall Performance
Running the show is a Snapdragon 665 chipset with 4GB of RAM. It pales in comparison to the Snapdragon 865+, but is good enough to enjoy a few choice games with limited stuttering, so it isn’t too far off from being the best phone for kids. There’s a fair amount of storage (64GB) and can be expanded further via microSD card. The stereo speakers are nothing special, a bit tinny. Camera quality is good for the price, colors are bright, though shadows tend to be reduced too much. Both the front camera and the main camera are 16-megapixels, though the G Stylus is rocking 48-megapixels.
Battery Life
Since the Motor G Power isn’t being drained by 120Hz or hard-hitting hardware, the 5000mAh battery has incredible efficiency. On a single charge, the G Power can last up to three days. Normal use will cut it back to 15 hour, so at worst you’ll plug it in at night.
Display
Its 6.4-inch display is fantastic at this price, as far as size is concerned; however, its overall quality is average. Covering 97% of the sRGB color spectrum, it isn’t particularly bombastic, whereas the Apple iPhone 11 covers over 110%. Still, it’s fine for enjoying movies, shows, YouTube, and so on. If you want a phone with a great display you can try the Huawei Honor 10, which comes with an LCD screen and a HD display.
Durability
If you were expecting the Moto G Power to be durable, you’re sorely mistaken. It’s entirely plastic and lacks an ingress rating, so keep it away from water. But unlike the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, the triple camera system doesn’t jut out from the back.
Value
The Moto G Power will certainly get bargain hunter’s moving: good performance for an even greater price. It cuts corners where it can without sacrificing too much underneath. There’s also plenty of colors to pick from, like smoke black, blue, white, silver, and gray. But if you want to be closer to the latest and greatest, that comes in the form of the Apple iPhone 11 Pro.

If there were to be a successor to the G7 Power, the Motor G Power would be that device. There are some flaws, however; lacking an IP rating for one and an average display. Outside of that, the Snapdragon 665 chipset is solid and a 6.4-inch screen is great to look at. Its battery is definitely its greatest strength, lasting up to three days.
