The LEGO Tower Bridge 10214 Creator Set is just about the best LEGO has to offer in terms of a challenging build with maximum satisfaction at the end. The rare pieces and colours aren’t too shabby either. If you’re still looking for a set that suits you, check out our best LEGO sets list

Performance

The LEGO Tower Bridge is a long and tall set. It measures 40” long, 17” high, and 10” wide. If you’re determined to build it or keep it somewhere as a showpiece you better have enough room. If you want something a little smaller, consider getting LEGO Star Wars Republic Frigate 7964 which is still somewhat long, but not nearly as tall or as wide. What you really need with the Tower Bridge is patience because the set includes 3 instruction manuals of about 50 steps each.

Design

As with any highly detailed model, the Tower Bridge contains many small pieces. The set rewards you with a completed model that is beautiful and captures the essence of the real-life Tower Bridge very well. However, if building bridges doesn’t really tickle your fancy, please try the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon 7965 which rewards you with a stunning, well, Millennium Falcon. A great aspect of the Tower Bridge’s design is that it can be taken apart in chunks for easy transportation.

Value

The Tower Bridge set comes with a whopping 4,287 pieces (this where the patience portion comes in). By comparison, the highly detailed LEGO Star Wars Death Star comes with 3,803 pieces, so you will have your work cut out for you with the Tower Bridge. The Tower Bridge also comes with the colours tan and sky blue which aren’t exactly common LEGO block colours so it’s awesome they’re included here. There’s about 500 pieces of the 1×1 tan slopes alone!

LEGO Tower Bridge 10214 Wrap Up

Let’s be honest and say that the LEGO Tower Bridge set, coming in at $435, isn’t exactly a cheap set. But with a set containing this many pieces, not to mention how many of those pieces and their colours are rare, it’s hardly a surprise. If you’re willing to spend the money, though, you’re in for a real challenge, and a real treat.
