The Star Wars Death Star Set is part of the UCS (Ultimate Collectors Series) LEGO sets which means it has collector-grade quality. This set combines features from the original Death Star from A New Hope with Death Star II from Return of the Jedi. The LEGO Star Wars Death Star features areas like the detention block and control room, as well as the tractor beam. The Star Wars Death Star LEGO set even includes a whopping 23 different minifigures of your favorite characters. If you like this set, you’ll love the Xbox 360 Star Wars Limited Edition.

Design

This LEGO set has a fantastic design that pays homage to one of the most iconic movie bases. It comes with a massive 4014 pieces that create a fantastic representation of the Death Star including laser turrets that swivel, the superlaser planet destroyer, and even Lord Vader’s TIE Advanced fighter. The LEGO Death Star also comes with 23 minifigures with some of them having multiple outfits. One could let Luke SkyWalker fight Darth Vader in his final dual outfit, or use the Tatooine one instead. Value

Considering the scale and detail of this set, it offers incredible value. A lot of work was put in to make it special, with each area amazingly intricate. Also, there aren’t many Star Wars toys that come with so many minifigures. The fact that nearly all your favorite characters are included is another bonus. Being part of the UCS series also means that it has a high collectibility value and there’s a chance that its value will shoot up in the United States once it’s discontinued. This set offers great value, just like Star Wars The Complete Saga.
