It can hold up to 1.5 gallons of trash, so it is best suited for smaller items like gum wrappers or crumpled bags (if 1.5 gallons of storage isn’t enough for you, try the two-gallon Garbage Drive Auto Products Collection). The patented StuffTop rubber lid keeps your console trash out of sight while reducing odors, which is one of the best features of the High Road car trash can. It can be cinched to the center console, or hung from a head strap for easy access.
Design
The design of this product isn’t particularly original, but it is efficient. The High Road StashAway Console Car trash can hide 1.5 gallons of trash underneath the patented StuffTop lid, helping contain odors from spreading throughout the car. The polyester body uses two insertable side braces to ensure the product stays open and upright. Like many other car trash cans, the StashAway is only available in black (if you want a different color besides black, please try the EPAuto Car Trash Storage Pockets instead).
Value
This product is affordably priced at only $14.99, although there are more budget-friendly options (a cheaper alternative is the KMMOTORS Jopps Comfortable Original Wastebasket). We would have liked to see more storage space for the price, but this trash can does have a patented StuffTop design that helps contain odors (unlike similar models). Although the polyester interior can easily be cleaned, it would have been nice to have had the option of bag liners. Also, the StashAway has poor attachment options compared to similar products, offering only a cinch-lock cord & an extremely short strap.
