Grand Theft Auto 5 Cheats for the PlayStation 3

Grand Theft Auto 5 is a fun video game on its own, but we all know cheat codes can add some excitement to the already enjoyable open-world game. Whether it be making your character run at super sonic speed or shoot flaming bullets, Rockstar has included an arsenal of awesome GTA 5 cheats for the PlayStation 3. How to use cheat codes in GTA V for the PS3

It’s simple to activate a cheat code in Grand Theft Auto V for the PlayStation 3. All you have to do is enter the combination while playing the game or during a pause screen to activate it. If a code was entered correctly, a confirmation will appear above the map.

Keep in mind that cheat codes won’t work during a mission. So, if you do start a mission, all entered cheat codes will be disabled. It’s also worth noting that entering a cheat code will disable the ability to earn PlayStation 3 trophies on the current save. That said, if you want to try out a few cheat codes, it’s best to create a new save or create a quick save such that you can revert.

Either way, cheats still add a lot of fun to the game when you want to spend a little while missing around. Here are some of our favorite GTA 5 cheats:

Player Modifications

Drunk mode: This will simulate as if you had a heavy drinking night at the bar. The combination is: Triangle, Right, Right, Left, Right, Square, Circle, Left.

Fast Run: This cheat will increase your maximum sprint speed. The combination is: Triangle, Left, Right, Right, L2, L1, Square.

Fast Swim: Similarly, fast swim will increase your swimming speed. The combination is: Left, Left, L1, Right, Right, R2, Left, L2, Right.

Explosive Melee: Want to add an extra punch to your melee attacks? You can make your punches and kicks literally explosive with the following combination: Right, Left, X, Triangle, R1, Circle, Circle, Circle, L2.

Explosive Ammo: Similarly, you can make your ammo rounds explosive by using: Right, Square, X, Left, R1, R2, Left, Right, Right, L1, L1, L1.

Invincibility: Need a dose of invincibility? Using the combination Right, X, Right, Left, Right, R1, Right, Left, X, Triangle.  

This will make you invincible for five minutes, but one the five minutes has passed, you’ll need to enter the code again for another five minutes.

Reduce Wanted Level: If your wanted level is just a little too high, the following combination will knock it down a star: R1, R1, Circle, R2, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left.

Raise Wanted Level: Similarly, you can raise your wanted level by one star using this combination: R1, R1, Circle, R2, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right. 

Jump Buildings: Want to give Superman a run for his money? The following combination will let you jump tall buildings: Left, Left, Triangle, Triangle, Right, Right, Left, Right, Square, R1, R2.

Holding Square will make you jump even higher!

Max Health and Ammo: If you want to bring your health and armor back to maximum, enter this combination: Circle, L1, Triangle, R2, X, Square, Circle, Right, Square, L1, L1, L1.

Recharge Special Abilities: Need to recharge your character’s special ability on the fly? This combination will get you squared away: X, X, Square, R1, L1, X, Right, Left, X.

Slow Aim: Need more time to aim? Entering this combination will turn slow-motion on for aiming: Square, L2, R1, Triangle, Left, Square, L2, Right, X.

You can enter the above code up to four time to increase the effect. Entering it a fifth time will turn off the slow motion aiming.

Vehicle Summoning

BMX Bikes: Need to spawn in a new BMX bicycle? This combination has you covered: Left, Left, Right, Right, Left, Right, Square, Circle, Triangle, R1, R2

Instant Helicopter: The following combination can spawn in a Buzzard helicopter with weapons attached: Circle, Circle, L1, Circle, Circle, Circle, L1, L2, R1, Triangle, Circle, Triangle

Instant Crop Duster: You can spawn a Crop Duster with this combination: Right, Left, R1, R1, R1, Left, Triangle, Triangle, X, Circle, L1, L1

Instant Golf Caddy: Want to reign the streets with a Golf Caddy? Use this combination: Circle, L1, Left, R1, L2, X, R1, L1, Circle, X

Instant Sports Car: Or maybe you’d rather rule the streets in style. The code for a two-door Comet sports car is:R1, Circle, R2, Right, L1, L2, X, X, Square, R1

Instant Raptor GT: Similarly, you can spawn in the Raptor GT sports car with: R2, L1, Circle, Right, L1, R1, Right, Left, Circle, R2

Instant Limo: You can also spawn in your very own stretch limousine with this code: R2, Right, L2, Left, Left, R1, L1, Circle, Right

Instant Garbage Truck: Or, maybe you’d prefer something a little more “trashy.” The Trashmaster garbage truck can be spawned in with: Circle, R1, Circle, R1, Left, Left, R1, L1, Circle, Right

Instant Dirt Bike: Need a good dirt bike in a flash? The following code will get you set up: Circle, X, L1, Circle, Circle, L1, Circle, R1, R2, L2, L1, L1

Instant Stunt Plane: Lastly, you can rule the skies by spawning in a fixed-wing stunt plane with this code: Circle, Right, L1, L2, Left, R1, L1, L1, Left, Left, X, Triangle

Misc Cheats

Parachute on Demand: You can give yourself a parachute by using this code: Left, Right, L1, L2, R1, R2, R2, Left, Left, Right, L1

All Weapons and Ammo: You can also give your character all weapons and ammo in the game by using: Triangle, R2, Left, L1, X, Right, Triangle, Down, Square, L1, L1, L1

Change the Wether: Want to change the weather? You can rotate through different types of weather with this code: R2, X, L1, L1, L2, L2, L2, Square

Slow Down Gameplay: You can slow down gameplay with this combination: Triangle, Left, Right, Right, Square, R2, R1

Add Car Drift: Want to make cars drift a tad more? Use this code: Triangle, R1, R1, Left, R1, L1, R2, L1

Float Away: Finally, you can float by using this code: Left, Left, L1, R1, L1, Right, Left, L1, Left. Once the code is entered, jump and press O to float.

Closing

Unfortunately, Grand Theft Auto V doesn’t have any explicit money cheats.
