It’s the winter, and for many of us, that means having an umbrella always handy. Especially as winter turns to spring, it’ll be important to have your umbrella handy, but it’s also painfully easy to lose. First of all, the Davek isn’t just a Totes with a sensor in it. It’s powered by a simple coin battery, and, thankfully, you can enable or disable the alarm with just a tap.

While forgetting your umbrella is perhaps a relatively minor annoyance, that only holds true until you step outside and discover you’re about to take an involuntary shower. Still, the annoyance of getting drenched does have to be weighed against the hefty $125 cost of a digital umbrella made from the finest materials. Then again, if you spend that much on a shirt, one could consider it insurance.
