Well, the costly omnidirectional outdoor TV antennas aren’t always the Best TV Antenna options available in the market. And the Channel Master Omni+ 50 UHF VHF antenna quite handily proves that. This Omni antenna is probably one of the only omni directional antennas that stands true to its claims. And just for that, it deserves a spot in your shortlist if you are looking for the Best Omnidirectional TV Antenna.

Why We Like It – Channel Master Omni+ 50

Unlike older omni directional TV antennas available at the sub $100 price point, the Channel Master Omni+ 50 is packed to the brim with new and useful features. When other omni directional antennas can’t even hold up their main claim, being omni directional, the Omni antenna provides true 360 degrees range without requiring any movements.

Performance

As long as the broadcast towers are located near your house, this UHF VHF omni directional antenna will deliver absolutely top-notch performance (even better than something like the Lava antenna). Being a new omnidirectional outdoor tv antenna, it actually can provide 4K HDR content too, once it becomes available over broadcast towers in the future.

Ease Of Install

Being an omnidirectional outdoor tv antenna, getting it installed is no easy task. It’s obviously not as easy as the 1byone Indoor Amplified TV Antenna’s installation process. In fact, it’s harder to install compared to other outdoor antennas as well, at the same price. That said, you can still get an omnidirectional outdoor antenna with a simpler installation process such as the Antop Outdoor Antenna.

Durability

The build quality of the Omni antenna is unquestionably better than most other outdoor TV antennas available at this price. Omni directional antennas don’t usually have a good reputation of being well built, but just like the costlier Lava HD8008 Antenna, this one does.

Range

The range is one section where this VHF UHF antenna stumbles a bit. It can only receive signals from up to 50 miles away, which is not that great for the price. If you have broadcast towers pretty much right next to your house, then it is a pretty fantastic option to go for. But, if you’re living in remote areas, you should absolutely look elsewhere.

Value

For just 70 bucks, the Omni antenna delivers top-notch UHF VHF performance, not to mention it supports FM radio signals too, which many other TV antennas don’t at this price. On top of that, unlike a lot of other omni directional antennas, the Omni antenna comes with a mounting bracket included right inside the box.

Channel Master Omni+ 50 Wrap Up

Overall, the Channel Master Omni+ 50 is an excellent VHF UHF antenna that can receive TV signals from up to 50 miles away. It’s a fantastic option for budget buyers.
