Performance
The Camco 55362 Battery Box can safely store an RV battery, an automotive battery , or a marine battery. The box is lightweight and corrosion-resistant thanks to the polypropylene construction. Battery acid will have a difficult time trying to spill out of this box. It comes with a lift-off lid, foot clamps, and stainless steel screws. Design
The Camco Battery Box fits group size 24 batteries and contains interior dimensions of 7 ¼” wide X 10 ¾” long X 8” tall with an additional 2” of head room for battery terminals. Though the Camco is advertised as being a heavy duty item, some customer reviews have complained about the flimsiness of the lid or the breakability of the stitching, so be on the lookout for that. The Camco Battery Box is USCG certified and meets ABYC E-10.7 specifications. You can be sure that leaky batteries will stay contained without making a mess. The box also comes in two different sizes, medium and large, and both sizes are nearly identical in price over on Amazon which makes this a great budget-friendly battery box.
