If you’re looking for the Best Leaf Blower, then you should check out the Black+Decker BV6000 Corded Vac / Mulcher Leaf Blower. After you’re done blowing your driveway, you can suck up your collection of leaves and mulch them into a compostable leaf bag. It’s very powerful, making your yard work a lot easier. This is a great tool for taking care of your lawn garden.

Why We Like It – Black+Decker BV6000 Corded Vac / Mulcher Leaf Blower

The Black+Decker BV6000 Corded Vac / Mulcher Leaf Blower is a landscaping workhorse! With an air volume of 400CFM, and an airspeed of 250 miles per hour, the Black+Decker combo blower vacuum mulcher is an easy 3-in-1 tool to clean up your entire yard at hurricane speeds, and help the environment at the same time.

Pros
  • Quiet than most leaf blowers at 68dBA
  • 3 tools in 1: blow, clean, and compost all at once
  • Metal fan prevents clogging while mulching
Cons
  • Mulcher does not work well with seeds and twigs
  • Confusing assembly instructions
  • Shorter warranty than other brands

Performance

The Black+Decker BV6000 Corded Vac / Mulcher Leaf Blower is a blower, vacuum, and mulcher, just like the Toro 51619 Ultra Electric Blower. It’s a high performance blower at 250mph, and Lowes states it’s capable of mulching 16 bags of leaves into one bag of mulch, drastically reducing your work time. Its 12 amp motor also has 2 speeds, so you can gently blow flower beds and use more power on matted leaves. Unfortunately, Amazon reviewers do note that the vacuum tube sometimes gets clogged on twigs, seeds, and wet leaves, so it’s better to use only on dry leaf piles. Design

The Black+Decker leaf blower is a corded electric blower, unlike the Hitachi RB24EAP Gas Leaf Blower, which can be pretty inconvenient. The tradeoff is that corded leaf blowers are much more powerful, and don’t use gallons of gas. The disposable leaf bag is also compostable, so there’s no hassle when dumping your mulch. It does have a cord retainer to keep your extension cord in place as you work, and it’s easy to switch between the 3 different modes. Plus, the Black+Decker model is overall quieter than other blowers, so you won’t disturb your neighbors. Value

While not quite as cheap as the Greenworks 24012 Electric Blower, The Black+Decker BV6000 is still a great value due to its 3-in-1 blower vac mulcher capabilities. You’re saving time and money, and at $79, it’s cheaper than most other corded models. However, reviewers do say that they have trouble contacting the Black+Decker service department when they have issues with their product, and the warranty is shorter than most other brands. So, if you go with the BV6000, make sure you love it before the warranty runs out.

Black+Decker BV6000 Corded Vac / Mulcher Leaf Blower Wrap Up

The Black+Decker BV6000 Corded Vac / Mulcher Leaf Blower is a great choice for eco-conscious landscapers. While there are downsides to corded blowers, the Black+Decker is a great value for those who want to try a combo blower, vacuum, and mulcher. If you want to make fast work of your yard work, at a pretty good price, then you must give this leaf blower a try.
