According to some mysterious inside source, the Blackberry Z10, one of two phones the now defunct RIM plans to sell this year, will hit AT&T stores as early as March 22nd. Keep in mind that this is merely a rumor at this point, so don’t ask for the day off just yet – not that you’ll have to stand in an iPhone line, or anything.
The Z10 is Blackberry’s all touchscreen phone running the company’s newest OS, BB10. It sports a 4.2-inch 1280×760 screen with a 356ppi, besting the iPhone in pixel density. Under the hood is a Dual Core TI OMAP 4470 1.5GHz processor, which is paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage via a microSD card slot, and an 8-megapixel camera that can capture full HD video. Unfortunately, Blackberry, nor has any carrier, said how much they’ll sell the Z10 for. The Q10 will reportedly sell for $199.99 with a 2-year contract on the Verizon network. That being said, I can’t see the Z10 selling for more since it needs to remain competitive with the iPhone 5, which starts at $199.99 and also includes 16GB of storage.
