While we’re still huge fan’s of Apple’s all-in-one desktop computer, the iMac, we can’t help but champion Acer’s latest and greatest in the same category, the Aspire Z5761.
For about 1300 smackers, you’ll get a 23-inch full HD display, your choice of a second gen Intel Core i5-2400s, Core i5-2500s, or Core i7-2600s, up to 1.5TB of storage, NVIDIA GeForce GT440, GT435M, or GT420 graphics and the option to add a hybrid TV tuner. There is of course WiFi b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet, both of which should suffice for streaming movies and other content over the Net, provided of course you don’t opt for the Blu-ray player for a full hi-def experience, though they’re not mutually exclusive. Rounding things out are 8 USB 2.0 ports (sadly no 3.0), Bluetooth 2.1 and Acer’s Clear.fi tech that connects you with compatible Acer devices without the need for wires.
The Aspire Z5761 is set to hit UK shelves in May, but we can probably expect it State side around the same time.
