I’ll be honest and tell you that if you’re looking for the best smartphone for vlogging, you should only consider the Samsung Galaxy A10 if you’re new and want to get your feet wet. Still, it’s an excellent phone to start out with. Particularly because the battery is top-notch and won’t run out on you in the middle of your recording and posting.

Why We Like It – Samsung Galaxy A10

The Samsung Galaxy A10 is Samsung’s budget-level phone of their budget-level phones. Still, it has some impressive specs for this kind of extreme budget. The camera is serviceable, the RAM is fast enough to handle light use, and the memory should be enough to store what you need.

Pros
  • Good Battery Life
  • Fantastic Display
  • Dual Sim Cards
Cons
  • Phone Feels Sluggish Sometimes
  • Only 2GB of RAM
  • Camera is Good, But Not So Good in the Dark

Overall Performance

Camera’s are the first to be cut when constructing a budget phone. The front camera is 5MP and the rear camera is 13MP. It should still get you by for some light vlogging, but let us recommend the Samsung Galaxy S10+ if you want something more powerful. The A10 is powered by an Octa Core Samsung Exynos and accompanied by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage which seems just a tad too little for any serious vlogging.

Battery Life

One of the areas the Samsung Galaxy A10 holds up well is in its battery life. With a 3500mAH battery, the phone will last you a full-day without issue. If you’re just doing some light texting and other general use procedures, it should last even longer. Just be aware that the S10 does not feature fast charging. Try the Apple iPhone XS 64GB for something that can last a little longer if you need it to.

Display

The display of the Samsung Galaxy A10 is probably it’s best feature. The bezels surrounding the screen are pleasantly thin and give the Apple iPhone 11 Pro a run for its money. The lower than average resolution is slightly noticeable, but it shouldn’t have any negative effect on your experience. The size of the display, 6.2 inches, makes the phone great for viewing media on a budget too! The display and camera on the Samsung Galaxy A10 makes it a poor smartphone for blogging but OnePlus 7T PRO HD1910 is a great choice for vloggers.

Durability

It’s not surprising that the phone won’t win any awards for its aesthetic persuasions, but that’s okay, aesthetics are the least of your concern when dealing with function. The 0.01 w kg means the phone is light enough to take around with you without being a hindrance, nut make sure you get a case because the plastic casing isn’t scratch-proof

Value

Depending on what version you get, the phone will come with a dual sim design like most other Samsung phones. Unsurprisingly, the A10 sports an Android 9 Operating System. Gamers may appreciate Samsung’s inclusion of the Game Launcher which collects all downloaded games into one place and gives stats such as playtime, rankings against other players, and game recommendations.

Samsung Galaxy A10 Wrap Up

The Samsung Galaxy A10 is about as budget as budget can get. But remember it’s also a Samsung, so there should be more than enough positive features to make you at least take a look at it. Of course they’re going to sacrifice some things, but if you’re conservative with your expectations, you’ll find that it’s still a great phone at a good price.
