If we’re talking about the best e bikes for women, you can’t end the conversation without talking about the Liv Thrive E+ 1 Pro; it’s at the top of our list for a reason. The e bike is built to tackle terrain—just look at those tires! And they’ll take you anywhere, for 70 miles on a single charge. Its quality makes it a close call for cyclists who love the brand to give it the ‘best electric bike‘ title.

Why We Like It – Liv Thrive E+ 1 Pro

The Liv Thrive E+ 1 Pro boasts impressive sensor technology that seamlessly blends with your pedaling. You’ll never know it’s helping the entire 70-mile stretch you can ride on a single charge. If you do not want a bike that is fit for different terrain, read our Macwheel wrangler review.

Pros
  • Tires perform exceptionally well on all terrain types
  • Travel 70 miles on a single charge
  • Sensor technology integrates well with your pedaling
Cons
  • Rigid seating
  • Expensive

Durability & Build Quality

Features of the Liv Thrive E+ 1 Pro might seem familiar, and that’s because it adopted the same design philosophy of the Live 3F. Don’t fix what isn’t broken! The fork is SL aluminum fork, 12×100 thru-axle. Several sizes are available, which alter features like the tube length but durability stays that same ALUXX SL-grade aluminum.

Performance (Speed & Acceleration)

We hoped this e-bike would put speed front and center, and it did. You can top your speed fast at 28mph. Average e bikes barely make it to 20mph. It’s because the Thrive E Pro Electric uses a new motor, SyncDrive Pro motor, in combination with its sensor technology and Shimano Tiagra 10-speed (2 speeds less than the Cube Kathmandu Hybrid 45), that delivers a smooth e bike riding experience when you need it. What about getting a portable trike for off-road escapades? Range & Battery

To pair with the motor Thrive E was implemented with, the Giant Energypak smart assistance is a wonderful addition. With smart support mode, you can push the Liv Thrive E EX Pro up to 70 miles of travel, depending on the support levels used.

Safety Features

The LIV Thrive E+ 1 Pro puts a bit more effort in its safety features. Hydraulic disc brakes are impressive, making stopping in inclement weather seem like child’s play. Lights have been fitted to the rear racket and front. Also, the RideControl app can send notifications to the RideControl EVO found on the RideControl One functions.

Value

It’s hard to look at the Liv Thrive E+ 1 Pro and not gawk at the price. This is a high performance bike with oodles of cycling technology blended seamlessly. It’s a big purchase, but will last for years to come, like a heavy wooden bed set. It’s more feature-rich and better than the Lapierre eSensium 300, which asks for $3350. The Trek Dual Sport + is more budget-friendly at $2900.

Liv Thrive E+ 1 Pro Wrap Up

Despite its price and rigid seating, the Live Thrive E+ 1 Pro gives you tonnes of cycling features, like a bike health app.. This is in addition to a 70-mile range on the battery, with tires that handle all kinds of terrain beautifully. And its sensor technology is superb, offering help when you desperately need it.
